As it is a reference to wills proved at Gloucester I would guess the originals are held at Gloucestershire records office. Depending on how fully they were indexed it could mean that the will was made by Stephen Yemm, or that his name appears on someone else's will - as beneficiary or executor maybe. Either way if I were you I would contact Gloucester CRO to ask if these wills are held there and if you can order a photocopy. Their web address is www.gloucestershire.gov.uk/archives By the way, I searched A2A in the hope I would find a ref to this will. I didn't, but there were several references to people called Yemm appearing at Gloucestershire Quarter Sessions. Go to http://www.a2a.org.uk/search put Yemm in the search box and specify Gloucestershire archives in the location of archives box.

Gloucestershire archives has an online genealogical database: http://www.gloucestershire.gov.uk/genealogy/Search.aspx There are two wills for a Stephen Yem listed on there: Year Surname Forename Gender Parish Reference Occupation Catalog 1741 yem stephen M ruardean 1741/ 71 ground collier Wills 1541 - 1800 1696 yem stephen M ruardean 1696/191 Wills 1541 - 1800 Lots of other Yem(m)s listed too. Presumably the reference numbers given would enable you to get copies from the archives without the need for a costly search.

You may find if you go you dont actually get to see the Will but it should be on microfiche for you to read. Worth emailing them and asking if you can buy a copy.
