Have you checked the National Archives for medals under documents on line? I found my G Grandads on there and he was also in Iraq. Sheila

Sarah I doubt if he went to Iran or Iraq in WW1 - they didnt exist then. Iran was called Persia, cannot remember what Iraq used to be called. It may help you to know this if you should be searching on places, for instance, although it looks as if your man has already been found. OC
