Pse can anyone help with suggestions? I am tracing Edward Meredith circa 1835 USA/Canada( on 1851 censusand onwards )in Leintwardine, Herefordshire. His brother William is denoted as born at sea. I need advised on how to go about finding birth certificates? I have no idea where the family went from or to., only that they came from Herefordshire. I am presuming that the brother was born on the voyage out so that must be 1835. In the later census, 1891 and 1901 Edward's origin is Canada so I am inclined to think he was born in Canada rather than USA as earlier ones. |
