Hi Have looked on FIBIS and found part of what I want but not all apparently the India office (not sure where) in London is the next place to go. Please let me know how you get on as I=m treading the same path!¬ Marcia

I am also looking for family in India, I cannot find registration of marrages that I know took place or births around 1880 . 1890. i belive they took place in registry office . I also know there was a pice in the locall paper . is this traceable ? I have looked at the following

If you put India or Indian in the search box there should be loads of advice re search engines.

I am trying to find out more about my aunt. She was born c 1919 Calcutta, India. All that I know is that her parents were anglo indians and their names were Maurice Scott and Agnes Dolan. Any ideas on how I go about finding out more about her. Thanks Su
