Hello everyone, Happy New Year. Would anybody know how I can access records of prison officers serving in Canada, probably Vancouver? I have found records of emigrants to Canada and the US, but does anyone know of returning emigrant records? Thanks in anticipation!!

Happy New Year William Afraid I can't help with your query but I am interested to hear where you found emigration records for Canada. My mother and my father went separately in the 1920's to Toronto and I'd love to find out some information about their voyages! Best wishes Marcella

On the Collectionscanada site there's a list of immigrants to Canada but only between the years 1925-1935. Margaret

Hi Marcella. I got the info from Ancestry .com. You put your relatives name in the appropriate search engine on the site, with the approx date and they check passenger lists which are available. Sadly some are missing I think. You can see the actual handwritten list, and in some cases you can even see how much luggage the carried and where there cabin (if any) was located. It was free up til yesterday. I guess it will cost now. Good Luck
