Marriage Entry - all done thanks

Is there any web site i can look up a marriage from the entry number to find out both the names. I have the index no. for Ada Carl 8c 1338 q4 chorlton 1911 & all i know is the mans first name was jimmy! Just wondering if i can find out anywhere without having to order the cert. many thanks Clare

Maureen, thanks, if the index no. is the same for james wright am i correct in thinking that he is the spouse for Ada Carl?

No - the 4 names are in alphabetical order Ada could have married Joseph Powell or James Wright

If he was known as jimmy it is more likely that its the james & not the joseph i think?
