I had the same problem last time I uploaded my tree. I think it was because the Gedcom I sent wasn't created with me as the anchor name. Email GR explaining that you are not the 'Home Name' and they will correct it for you. |

I think the name given to the tree by Genes is the same as the name of the main person on the tree you imported it from. I use PAF 5, and the main person is called the 'home person' or 'start-up person'. Not sure what it's called in other Family Tree programs. If you change that person to yourself, your name should show up on Genes next time you import your tree. |

hi all when i view my tree on here, rather than putting my name: #relations at the top as the heading, it has the name of somebody else in my tree. how do i change this. thanks michelle |
