adding married first cousins to family tree

Sarah Without listing the people twice you cannot do it on here. You can however do this on a family tree program on your home computer. You can export your gedcom from genes and import in to the program make the changes then export the new gedcom back to genes There are quite a few free programs you can download to do this. im sure this question has been asked over and over...but for me it is a first time issue...my grandparents mothers were sisters...is there any way to direct an entry to one already made?...ie...my grandfathers mother is already listed in my grandmothers branch thanks in advance for any advice Sarah Tharby |

Simply, you can't add them onto the tree on here. You need to add somebody twice and make a note that it's the same person as before! If you have a program like Family Tree Maker, it will let you add cousins who marry, and I believe then you can upload that into here successfully, but I've never tried uploading it again.
