have you any census returns?- i can see an 1861 but just one daughter , and she is called Lydia not sarah. Christopher is Born Brindle, his wife Mary in Wigan ,likewise daughter all born the right years too

I cant see a death for Christopher to tie in with the mary being a widow in the assylum

not confirmed but i think she married a william or james stowell around 1875 thanks jess love linda x
