	The are a few RN ships listed on the 1901 census many in different countries at the time.

	If his ship was out of the country then he wont show on the census. try the National Arhives site search box with his name .You may be lucky and get his naval record. Shirley

	Can any one tell me how to find my grandfather who was in the Royal Navy at the time of the 1901 Census
