How do I get a birth certificate for Scotland for

HI Apart from applying to GROS (see GROS website) you can, of course, apply direct to the appropriate local registry office. It is also possible to search records to date at Glasgow and Dundee. I hope this makes sense as I am typing this through an alcoholic haze etc, this being Hogmanay etc! Yours aye, Denis Inverness

Don't know about relatively recent births, but try http://www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk for your Scottish relatives Good luck

Someone has suggested I ask for advice here on this one. I've got a name and date of birth. I'm trying to get the birth certificate to trace other family relatives.
