Hi all, My Mum's 2 first cousins were in the royal air force during the second world war. Is their any web sites around that may be able to help in locateing their records?. The reason i ask is Because we need a date of birth as we are trying to locate the birth certificate for either Brother so that we can find out their Mothers real name. My Mother new her as aunt polly but we cannot find a birth or Marriage certificate for her useing that name. my mums brother thinks polly was not her real name any idea's? Thanks

Priscilla.... I had Polly as a name for one of my g grandma's sisters! There was no Polly...but her sisters' names were as follows Ann Jane Hannah Mary Lora My money would be on Ann or Hannah... as in Polly-anna...it's worth a try!

Polly was usually a 'pet' name for Mary Reg
