I made a mess up. Last week I ordered a cert for an event less than 18 months old. Didnt notice until after I had completed and submitted the order that you have to go to local registry office for ones that early. Ive emailed them asking them to reimburse my card with the tenner - hope they do! BUT, the strange thing was, I ordered a number of other certs at the same time. On all those the despatch date given was 3 Jan. On the less than 18 months old one it was 18 January. So I dont know how that came about. |

From early Jan they are taking off the 'Guest' facility, and you have to log in. AFAIK, it has always been the case that once ordered, cannot be stopped. Keith |

This has always been the rule for on-line ordering, surely? OC |

I now make it my own rule to order one certificate at a time even when ordering more than one. (if you get my gist!) I find that this way if there are any problems they dont all get held up. Pauline |

Has anyone heard that GRO, has now put in a new rule (which does make alot of sense) that once you have placed an order that you cannot cancel it or make any alterations. I only discovered this on Friday (29/12) when placing loads of orders. I wonder how long they are going to be, I would be interested to see. |
