Kimberley, i have sent you a pm re gedcoms. The software you are using is either FTM 2005 or maybe the 2006 version, both are packaged as WDYTYA.

Erm just to point out, you could download a gedcom from GR to your hard drive and then import it to tree software.. That saves having to manually input every name, date and location. Glen

Hi Stacy, I have just been bought one for Xmas....its actually an ancestry one but repackaged under BBC's 'who do you think you are'. Its really good and it gives you a 90 day free subscription to ancestry. The only downfall is that if you are transfering data from Genes reunited you have to do it manually, however to be honest I am loving it!! As I can cross check all my data again...and if the record on Ancestry matches yours it will merge all the records and back up the info hope this helps

There are loads on the market. You can get PAF and Legacy free (with upgrade options) You can buy FTM, GenBox, GenDesigner and loads more. If you google any of them, you will get a link to download the program. Most offer trials, so go with that and choose whichever you like best.

hi all, does anyone know where i can purchase a family tree builder. i am not very good on computers but i am fed up of going through all the paperwork everytime i need info !! cheers
