Have you tried the appropriate County Record Office / Archive? They would seem to the most likely place and might be able to suggest other sources if they don't have anything on the mine. There could be somewhere like a University that holds material on mining. You can also trying search on A2A to see if you get any matches. MB

Hi All Does anyone know where I can find Lead Mining Bargins for Stonecroft mine Northumberland. My GGG Grandfather worked there according to the 1861 census along with two of his sons. Thanks and HAPPY NEW YEAR Martin
