can't read the 1851, 2nd opinion reqd

I've got John Doling on the 1851 Census. He was born 1792 Romsey Hants and was a gamekeeper on the 1841 but he looks like a collector of something. Any offers? Thanks

It looks like Collector of Tolls to me...not knowing the area, I don't know if this is relevant?
