How do you show marriages to sister in law

Sue, can't you enter them into your family tree maker as 2 separate families, Thomas Smith and his wife, then Louise's family and her sister, then add Rhoda as his second wife, then merge them together? Hope I've explained that properly! |

I have it uploaded into family tree maker but can't connect either. Bit mind boggling to be honest. We went to the cemetary today to track down some of the Smith's when I arrived home the birth cert for one of the Smith's had arrived and found that Thomas Smith had married a Baker. The whole churchyard in Much Marcle is full of Bakers and we didn't know the significance at the time. Guess we'll be making another visit! |

There isn't a way to show it on here Sue. This was something that Genes were going to sort out a long time ago and we are still waiting. I haven't tried it, but apparently if you have your own family tree programme with them entered correctly you can import it onto Genes and it will still show the relationship. |

Hi I have a relative Thomas Smith who married Louisa Baker who subsequently passed away in 1872 he then went on to marry Louisa's sister Rhoda. Anyone know who to show this on GR? Sue |
