Hi Does anyone have a fresh pair of eyes to look for a marriage between Thomas Smith and Louisa Baker. Thomas Smith was born in 1832 in Much Marcle in Herefordshire and from his son William's birth cert it shows a Louisa Smith formerly Baker as his wife. Their eldest child was born around 1869. I believe that Louisa was also born in Much Marcle around 1850. Village is Much Marcle, District comes under Ledbury in Herefordshire. Thanks Sue

Keith No I don't think its the right Louisa. I believe the Louisa I'm after shows on the Census in 1851 as being born in Much Marcle in 1850 to Felix and Jane Baker. Thomas Smith and his family are from Much Marcle and I believe he may well have married within the village. Louisa was on the 1861 census as living at home but not on the 1871 census although her parents and siblings are shown. I'm just struggling to fnd Thomas and Louisa marriage. Many thanks Sue

Brilliant! That does fit in with the information I have about their son George. Many thanks for your look ups for me. Sue
