I was born in Mansfield, and all my family still live there. I don't actually need a lookup, but was pleased to see your thread, it's brought back happy memories. There's nowhere like Mansfield! (Incidentally, I now live in Coventry!!)

Hi there, I am a native of Pleasley and know Mansfield very very well, or so I thought. One of my relatives was a servant at the Black Horse pub, but I can't think where this was. Is there any thing about where it was in your book. I am in Toronto Canada now and can't really ask around. Looking forward to hearing from you Happy New Year Alie

I was born and bred in Mansfield and still have family living there. My Great-Grandmother, at the time of her marriage in 1899, was living in Nag's Head Yard, but I can't remember where in Mansfield that is/was. If you could give my any information on the Nag's Head I would be grateful. Could you also give details of the title, publisher, etc of the book, because I might get a copy for myself! Thanks for your help. Maureen
