Hi William, I am running IE7, but could not do anything to stop it other than re-boot. All has been well since then. Keith

I suspect you are running Internet Explorer 7.Right click below the Start line,Click Properties,Click Customise;Where it says AVG-Click on 'Hide When Inactive'.It worked for me. Regards William Russell Jones Cefn Mawr Wrexham.

That is strange, this morning mine was fine, just checked e-mail again, and scanner is connected to e-mail and running continually, as yours is. My programme is updated. Will have to check it out. UPDATE Re-booted computer and checked e-mail again, seems to have cleared it ok, but wonder why it would not clear originally?

Can anyone explain why, all of a sudden, the coloured cube has become 2 and flashes all the time - even when I'm not on Outlook Express and the AVG Email Scanner above it says 'scanning message'? Originally there was only one coloured cube and then I noticed the other one which keeps on turning. Please can anyone tell me if I've done something wrong?
