I don't think they will bother trying to justify it.........only about a week ago, they were 'price testing'..........for a fee of £13.50. Just testing the waters, as it were, to see if they could get away with it. There's a thread about it somewhere............. Reg

Hi Reg, Maybe so but how can they justify a 25% increase. I have written to Genes asking them for their comments on how they can justify this massive increase. I wonder what their comments will be???? Lou

ITV's advertising revenue fell by 12.5% in the past year...........they need to recoup some of the lost income, and GR seems a soft target. Reg

Hi Rosie, Yes like you I've had lots of help from other very kind and helpful members, but I still feel the price increase they are asking for is way too much. The current price increase is something like 2.9% not a whopping 25%. I'm asking for an explanation as to why they feel they can put up such an increasewhen the current rate is below 3%. I'm baffled. 25% ! I wish my wages would go up by that amount ! LOL But I must admit I have had lots of help from kind people on here so perhaps it is worth it .

Hi Rosie, Thanks for the information. Last year my renewal was only £7-50, which makes it an increase of £2-45 which in real terms is 25% increase. Way above the price of inflation! Lou
