Member Since: July 2003 Posts: 0 Send Message	can anyoe help with this--------------how do i disable AVG & spywareblaster for the time being? i want to install software for a broadband conection, i get so far with it and it says all the components couldn't be installed and to close some applications,i presume that means antivirus and spyware? any ideas? chris.

Member Since: November 2006 Posts: 30 Send Message	You should be able to stop them from starting by Start - Run type: msconfig: startup tab and untick the appropriate boxes - apply - ok. You will have to restart pc for it to take effect. Be sure to go through the same procedure and retick them when you have done what you need to. This is what I would do given no other alternative.
