Oh so frustrated

I am so frustrated, I have found messages on the Ancestry site that have a definate connection to myself. I am also doing some research for a friend and have found deffinate connections for her also.....BUT.. the problems are, my connection posted the message ages ago and the email I sent has been returned as undeliverable, and my friends connection is not answering the emails I have sent. When I think of the hours spent trawling sites for possible connection and when they are found the inevitable 'brick wall' appears. Oh dash, darn etc etc etc. Kathlyn

Same happens on this site so please if someone takes time to contact you it does not matter on which site please please reply to it. But remember do not complain if the same happens to you if you have not had the decency to reply to your letters.

Roger, you are so right. If I contact someone with a 'possible' connection to my family and they reply, even if the answer is 'No connection', then I feel it is only right to say ......Thank you for your time in answering my message. Unfortunately there does not appear to be a connection this time, but I wish you Happy Hunting in the future........ By this simple reply I can be happy that that person will feel kindly the next time they are contacted by someone else. When you think of the hours we spend sitting at the computer, how long does it take to say a simple....thank you. Kathlyn
