L is pound! Moiety is a portion/share Tent - tenement? = house, land, rent. In this instance, i would guess it it is his piece of land with dwelling, which may be freehold, or could be tenanted. Jay |

Well, 'Moiety' means 'small portion' or 'half'. I see there is a mention of the 'other half of said tent.' Tent appears to be an abbreviation............. Reg |
