Hi Elaine I'm still searching for this info. I did come across something which said 'immigration' records for people arriving in the UK were not listed as such. Surely there must have been some sort of records somewhere! Ho hum back to searching for this elusive answer Vaughny x

Hi Anyone know how I'd find out how someone got from USA (where he was born) to England orphange (gloucester) between 1857 and 1870? I can't find any info for the missing years, and most of the sites I've looked on have immigration FROM England to USA thanks Vaughny x
