Hello, In the fire of London the records of who was the rightful heir to Ashley Cooper's gold were destroyed so a search was done to find the descendants. They narrowed it down to the Gundrys and sent out letters to them requesting they return to England and prove that they were the line of Gundrys who descended from Ashley Cooper and claim the gold. I was wondering if anyone would know where I would find the records for the search or any information on it? I think the search was done in the 1920s. Thanks, Sarah |
