If you're lucky enough to have a year and area already transcribed, you can try free cen http://freecen(.)rootsweb(.)com/ which is free as it says.

Have a look at this site, you can download a paper subscrption and see all censuses and other things just get what you want. www(.)thegenealogist(.)co(.)uk remove brackets Also money is pounds nor dollars, I also do not like using credit cards on here,so not alone in that aspect.

you can buy vouchers for the 1901 census at most libraries. They cost £5.

I believe Ancestry will take a cheque, but not quite sure how it works. There is a cancellation number - 0800 404 9723 - they might be able to help. You could always ask for a lookup on here though :)

Hi Does anyone know where i can look up census but without using a credit/debit card? I'm quite stumped as I can only pay via my bank but i don't have any cards Vaughny x
