I need a little advice please. I am trying to add a large family to my tree, I have added the first 8 children, no problem but I cant add any more. I need to add another 4 children I have tried several times without success. Am I missing something or doing something wrong. Thanks I have tried again by adding extra children or a sibling on my GR tree still nothing I cant get past eight children on this family line, Can I make the individual boxes smaller to get more onto the line. thanks

On a GR tree? I got my dad and his 10 siblings on no problem, was the old tree though.

I have tried again adding extra children or a sibling, I still cant get the extra children recorded on my GR tree. Can I make the particular family line boxes small to add more. It appears to me that particular line is full. I am new to this so its likely I am doing something wrong. Thanks.

I think i understand. It is not that you cannot add children. It is the fact that you cannot see them all at once. At the bottom of window is a bar(mine is blue) which you have to slide sideways.

I think that Jim is right... I have just checked my tree and can only see 8 of my grandad's siblings at any one time, but if you slide the blue bar across under the tree (but above the 'add sibling' option) you can see the others.

I have sorted out the problem. I was leaving the mandatory box for place of birth empty as I do not know the birth place. Therefore the update would not be accepted. Under place of birth I typed unknown and the entry was accepted. Thanks for the help.
