Member Since: June 2005 Posts: 518 Send Message	Hi again all. I am wondering when photos first started to appear in newspapers? I am going to look at our local archives to see if the birth of my great uncle is reported. He was born in 1909 and according to my mums cousin who knew him his weight was nearly 14 pounds! With a birth weight like that i feel there should be some kind of report. That got me wondering when photos first started to appear in newspapers. Anyone got any ideas?

	I have a cutting from a local paper dated 1880 which has a photo in it, so well before the time you are talking about. OC
