finding maiden name of someone married in 1750`s?

Allan All these events are pre registration so the district will be defined by parish. You will need to look at the Parish registers for both these events and bring them forward, to work out which is yours (if either are) by matching the baptisms of the children of each couple. OC |

thanks jess.....which registration area would middlewich use??....both seem feasible,though the second would only make mary 16.....she had her first child william when she was 22...so the first looks a better option....regards...allan |

hi....ralph oakes b 1732 married mary unknown b 1736 both born in middlewich,cheshire...children..william 1758/john 1760/thomas 1761/ralph 1764/joseph 1765/mary 1767/richard 1770/hannah 1772/samuel 1774...info from igi....how can i find marys maiden name...is there a chesh bmd pre 1837 marriage records site for middlewich area???....reegards...allan oakes |
