My name is Sharon Firth (nee Stacey). I'm trying to trace a Samuel Stacey bpt 1771 born in Kellington Yorkshire . He worked as an agricultural labourer right up to been 70 yrs old.he married Catherine (don't know maiden name) she was the same age Samuel. The only children details I have are as follows William bpt 10/02/1799 Hannah bpt 22/07/1803 Samual bpt 21/04/1805 Grace bpt 22/11/1807 George bpt 4/02/1808 Martha born 10/02/1812 bapt 5/03/1812

Sharon Not sure if you want him backwards or forwards. If you are trying to get further back then it's the Parish Records, I'm afraid. Start with Parish where the children were born, to see if you can find his marriage. OC
