This may seem an odd request but can anyone tell me how I might find the origins of a road name? My family built houses in Torquay and I,ve always been told that Windsor Road was named after the family but no one seems to know if this is actually true. I would like to find out one way or another if possible. S.Windsor |

The local council have the final say in the naming of streets.......you could do worse than contact Torbay council. Reg |
