I sent my request to York in October and my cheque was banked on 19th of Oct but I still haven't had the will. Anyone else waiting? L |

Hi Lauretta, I suggest that you contact them again, if they have cashed your cheque, surely they must have sent you the document, it may have gone missing in the post, but I would not wait any longer. All the best Jim Leitch |

Hi Lauretta Yes, I sent for a will in oct and my cheque has been cashed, I phoned yesterday, recorded message said: they are working on orders received 15th of oct and if your cheque has been cashed your order has been received and they are sorry for the delay. Liz. |

Don't forget though that they will cash the cheque regardless of whether a will exists or not.The fee pays for a search even if no copy of a will exists. The usual wait is around 6-8 weeks but at times it can be a little longer. |
