I sent my request to York in October and my cheque was banked on 19th of Oct but I still haven't had the will. Anyone else waiting? L

Hi Lauretta, I suggest that you contact them again, if they have cashed your cheque, surely they must have sent you the document, it may have gone missing in the post, but I would not wait any longer. All the best Jim Leitch

Hi Lauretta Yes, I sent for a will in oct and my cheque has been cashed, I phoned yesterday, recorded message said: they are working on orders received 15th of oct and if your cheque has been cashed your order has been received and they are sorry for the delay. Liz.

Don't forget though that they will cash the cheque regardless of whether a will exists or not.The fee pays for a search even if no copy of a will exists. The usual wait is around 6-8 weeks but at times it can be a little longer.

Im also waiting for mine which was sent around the 15th October. Ive phoned a couple of times and it looks like it's our turn next. Sheila
