Unusual birth registration

Is it possible parents were not married at time of birth but married later that year?

Could be a spelling change or anything like that. Perhaps a middle name added. I can't remember, but if you order it, I think you get the revised cert no matter which ref you use.

Thanks Tracy, Found it in Dec Qtr 1951. Wonder why the birth was re-registered? Ruth.

See December 1951 registrations. Probably something was ammended on the original cert, or she was re-registered.

A relative of mine was born in 1951, Worth Valley, Yorkshire. The registration numbers are Vol. 2c Page 'See D'51.' I have never seen this as a page number before, there are no notes at the bottom of the page, and she was not addopted etc. Does anyone know what 'See D'51' means?
