I had good fortune on finding my family on Pathe News.....My father always spoke of the Juggling Demons and on llooking at Pathe News I was able to received three short video clips of their act...Worth a try for anybody who wants to search events that happened around 1920 onwards..Pathe News are on the internet.

Paul and Sharon Her name was Dorothy Hanson though that might have just been her stage name, i'm looking up info on her for another member who's doing the lookup for someone else and i said i would help. I have clippings about her from about 1917 to abut 1925. She had to be old enough in 1904 to have a child. ibm (the movie site) doesnt have any info as far as i can see. Thanks for your tips Mhairi

Try the Theatre Museum in Covent Garden http://theatremuseum.org/research/default.php In 2007 their collections will be going to the V&A and there is a large campaign going presently to save it.

Hi Mhairi Did your actress appear in any early films ???? (maybe 1917 is too early) - I've always found www*imdb*com to be an excllent resource (remember to replace the stars with .) What was you're actress' name ? Cheers...Paul

Any idea, apart from Googling which only brings up one thing, how i could trace an actress from the early 1900's - 1920's? I've had a search in the Times archives and it gives a few good things but i was hoping for an age or biography. Any idea's?
