Huge Victorian Leather Holy Bible. A lovely item. The front and back covers (and spine) are leather. It has the words Holy Bible on the spine. Gilt edges to pages. The front cover and the first few pages have become detached from the spine. One of the early pages has the following text on it… Cassell's illustrated family bible, Cassell Petter and Calpin. London and New York. Attached to the reverse of the front cover is a sticker which says William Fielder 1877. It has 3 family register pages - for births, marriages and deaths. Each page is full with names and dates. Names included are Fielder, Crook, Newman, Barker, Paul. Beautifully illustrated. Measures approx. 12½ inches x 10½ inches x 4½ inches in depth, a Very Heavy Book !!! FAMILY HISTORY The inscriptions read…….
