can anyone help me track william old massey dob unknown. bmd has him as marriage 1857 to mary truscott in pembroke, wales, both of full age 1881 census - mary - occupation - ships carpenters wife at sea i know that he was a ship builder, and his fathers name was tho old massey - occupation coastguard service, pembroke wales. i have looked through census and cannot find him. help appreciated please. joanne x

1861 census seems right. i suppose because he is a ship carpenter he travelled around a lot. 1857 he married in pembroke dock, and his father tho (is that thomas), was also based in pembroke dock.

hi reggie, thanks for looking, yes that is most definately mary and parents. i knew she had a brother ambrose, but not the others. i haven't been able to find her birth record as some of my docs hint that she was born before 1837. william and his family on the other hand has become quite elusive. joanne x
