Thankyou Eric for sharing this diary. My great Uncle died over there in 1917, and is buried in the Lijssenthoek Miliary Cemetary, near Poperinge. It has given me an insight into the conditions those brave men endured over there, and the great work carried out by the people in the medical centres. I have saved the diary for my records. Thankyou. Frances |

Re-Pte. H H Humphrey,Field Ambulance , RAMC.1914-1918 I have created a website with entries of Pte. H H Humphrey's Diary. I still have to complete the Diary but it is viewable up till March 1916 There are many names mentioned, which, may interest persons trying to trace ancestors during that period., especially the North-East area. The website address is:- www.freewebs.com/hhhumphrey/ Regards--Eric and Kath Sibly |
