searching Worrall, mothers maiden name Carmichael. I have reg and Ernest 1916 april may june, mother Carmichael, with same index 8b, 1265 Prescot, is this right

They could quite possibly be twins, only the cert. will decide. I am researching a fairly unusual name in Sussex and have come across a similar situation, where there were 2 children born in the same quarter, both with mother's name of FINCH. They were related through their fathers, but were NOT twins. Gwyn

If they are twins, they would have the same reference. Are you sure about that ref? I can't find a Carmichael mother in Q2 1915. There's an Esther in Q1 1915 though.

...No skeleton that I know of. The fathers were related to one another and both happened to marry girls with the same surname as each other. Gwyn

Hi Gwyn I misunderstood what you where saying. I have two uncles (brothers) who married two sisters. It is so easy to misinterpret information. Bev

I have an example of that, Boy and Girl twins, on their deaths.. 5a 510 for both.. although.. for their births, M/fiche page 298 5a 640, for the boy and m/fiche page 299 5a 641 the girl Bob
