Hi McAnne If you haven't already got there would love a photo - My gt uncle Henry Thomas McBride Ships Corporal 1st class No 149592 was drowned when hospital ship 'Rohilla' was wrecked off Whitby en route to pick up war casualties 30 Oct 1914 84 died He was one of several not identified my email is [email protected] Merry Xmas from NZ Max Wilson |

Just thought I would extend this offer - I am intending to get up to the Chatham Naval Memorial one weekend soon - when the weather is good enough - to take some photo's for someone. I am happy to accomodate any other requests if you know you have someone commemorated at the Memorial - just give me the name and vessel - as much info as you can to help me find them, and I will do my best. I would then request your email addy to forward the pics too. Please PM if you wish me to try for you - but as stated - it will be as and when the weather is suitable ie. dry and bright, so the pics come out well. This is also posted on General. |
