what you now now need to do is send for both of these certificates from The general register office. This will tell you both Annies parents names, THEN we can start looking for THEM in 1901 census. until we know their names, there is nothing we can do there are at least 5 men of the right age on the 1901 census...I wouldnt like to gues which was her father

Have found several William Masons in the 1901 census living in Kensington; 1. Born c.1853 in St. Pancras, wife Maria. 2.Born c.1879 in Kilburn. 3.Born c.1848 in Paddington, wife Sarah. 4.Born c.1881 in Marchfield, wife Charlotte. 5.Born c.1886 in Willesden, parents Samuel and Annie. If you think any of these are likely matches, I will check the census copy for more details. Hope this helps, Hilary

I have a PM here , hope its okay to put it here Hi Jess, thanks for your reply, I have info'' on Harry Percy Ramus & Annie Sophia Mason but nothing on Annie''s Parents other than her father''s name, needed to know who his parents were, when & where they were born, I''m really stuck on this one ..... there''s always one that will throw a spanner in the works! grateful thanks for your help. I'm searching for a William Mason believed to have lived in the Kensington area of London, the only info' I have is the name of a daughter Annie Sophia born 1908 she married a Harry Percy Ramus in 1929, if it's possible info' on when he was born, who he married and possibly his parents names, would be most grateful, many thanks, Audrey
