Fantastic Diane! I knew I had a Salop birth place from somewhere. This is a tree I am helping a close friend with and I have not been as good at record keeping as I have with my own. Many thanks again. Liz

Hi I have found 'Margaret' Garrity and when I looked at the image it does say harriet-she is living with a Margaret & Valentine Looks like Earl.He is a Mariner and an american and living at 17 Union street.Whats strange is Margaret was born in Shropshire and all the children are step children so it looks like she has remarried. Also it says Commercial Hotel as well as 17 Union street. Thanks Diane - don't worry about the 1861 census result. The 1851 with the right occupation should be enough for further research. I have googled coffee house keepers in Liverpool but think will have to go into one of the Family History Societies or the Local Studies in Central Library in Liverpool. Thanks again for your help. Liz

Would be grateful if anyone could look up someone I had but have lost. My subs to Ancestry have expired. Mary Garrity (Widow I think) b Salop - Temperance Coffee House Keeper, with children Edward b 1837, Michael b1841, Harriet b1843, Patrick b 1850. In Liverpool. Want the addresses, if not streets then areas etc, from the images and her year of birth. Want to see if I can get info about her coffee house from Liverpool Library but need to know where it was... Many thanks. Liz
