Yep, Eileen, you are right! I only have 79 pages of discarded matches now! LOL! OC

Claire, You either click on the `discard match` text inside the match message, or click on the little box to the right in the hot matches list when a tick should appear, then when you have ticked as many as you want to delete, click the save box at the bottom of the page and they will all disapear, but you do have to do it one page at a time, if you move to the next page without saving the ticks disappear and the messages dont delete. Has anyone else noticed some very odd `matches' in their hot matches list? There always seem to be some added to mine which have no apparent correlation with my tree at all, not to mention all the `John Smith` type matches from completely the wrong part of the country. I have made some useful contacts, but it is extremely tedious weeding out all the tosh. Pam

Eu8leen, Well clicking on to the `Hot Matches` list from my home page then ticking the `dont show me these again' box, then clicking `save' works for me when I want to weed my list. They don't seem to reappear anywhere else when I do this. Pamela

If you click 'Dont show me this hot match again' AND SAVE, the hot matches go to an 'Ignored Hot Matches' list. This means they don't appear on your Hot Matches pages again UNLESS you click on 'Show me ignored Hot Matches'. There is no way that I know of to get rid of them permanently, but why worry, it is the GR computer they are cluttering up, not yours. OC
