It may just be human error, the spelling in some of my census has slight differences but if all other info correct then I've assumed it was a spelling error, remember not everyone was literate so couldn't tell how to spell the name.

All kinds of letters come and go over time. If you match everything else up then chances are it's them. Sheila

The same people? In the 1871 Census There was a Charles, Rebbeca GRANGER with their childre Charles and Rebecca However when I go back to the 1861 census I have found Charles, Rebecca and Charles GRAINGER The datas and places of the people are more or less the same, Where would the i of gone in the name??
