i hope someone can help me with this!!! about a month ago i had to have a new hard drive and windows reinstalled, since then my speakers havn't worked, i've tried everything i can think of. i've had a look on device manager, and have clicked on properties of 'c-media ac97 audio device' it also has a ! in a yellow circle, and it says 'this device cannot start [code 10]' i have looked around the web and came up with a site with free computer help and it appears that 'code 10' means it is conflickting with another program, can anyone help me with this? it is really driving me mad!!!! also my scanner doesn't work! but i'm not really bothered about that,i just want sound on my PC! Have you re-installed the driver for the sound card ??? You will find it on the motherboard installation disk. Carol www*genealogyprinters*com |
