Iam hoping some kind person can help me. I am now working on a branch of my tree that is causing me real problems when inputing the information on my Genes tree. I find that some of my ancesters all married into the same family. unfortunately I have entered the information that I had initially only now to find that months down the line I have found that one of My lot married her sisters husbands brother. How do I connect these in my tree without having to have all the names duplicated Many thanks for any advice Mary |

You can't do this using the GR tree building tools. If you export your GR tree as a GEDCOM file, you can make these kind of connections using any one of several software packages (ranging from free to very inexpensive) and then reimport your tree back to GR. The proper relationships will then appear online, but you control your own tree data offline, and can update your online tree as often as you wish. |
