Here goes.My grandad=Herbert maxwell Shaw(born 1923),his parents = Herbert shaw (born 1880-85 married to Mabel Williams),His dad = Henry Shaw(1850 aprox), we think he married Mary. My dad thinks that henry and mary came down to birmingham from up north, maybe stoke on trent, when their kids were young.Apparently Herbert and Mabel were married in birmingham. I cant find the right Herbert and Mabel, Or Henry and Mary on census' This is all I know. Did I make any sense at all? haha. Thanx alot for attempting to help me. Love Kate xx |

Im after a bit of advice. Me and my family are from Birmingham and Ive been looking for my great great grandparents in all available census' for warwickshire area. I cant find them! Then my dad tells me that he thinks that they may have come from up north and moved here. My question is, do I have to look through all census' in all cities, or is there an easier way of tracking them down? Is sending for their Birth Certificates the only other option?? If I have to look at the Ancestry census pages once more I think Im going to pass out with fear.haha. Any advice will be much appreciated. Thanx alot guys Kate xxx |
