on the 1841 shows they were married he was away at sea 36 cable wynd,south leith ,midlothianand then on the 17 july 1873thats were it says the widower of jane marshall there were married,on the 8 april1835 in ,south leith ,midlothian hope this helps |

Have you got them on any census returns. If so which ones show them as married and then him as a widow? If you can tie it down to between two census returns then you can narrow down the years to search and make it easier to spot a possible match. Also bear in mind that (depending where they were) she may have died in England or in Scotland, the census returns might be your best bet to narrow down the possible search area as well as years. |

i have the death cert of my g.grandfather and on it it says the widower of jane morgan nee marshall that was in 1873 bonnington leith scotland ,but i cant find out when she died.can anyone help,thank you joyce |
