Records for Policemen in 1900's?

Hello does anyone know if their are any sites with history of police force or any that would have records of policemen? Thanks in advance, Jennifer

Jennifer There was a thread similar to this a while ago - try putting 'police' into search box at top of board. Have nudged one thread for you, but there are quite a few - take a look. Also, I do know that the Met has a museum and archive, but not sure which other forces do - try their website for details. regards Looby
