occupation of brushmaker

in 1890 in London, my great grandfather was a brushmaker, anyone know if this was a 'skilled' occupation or more of a manual job, wondering if he would have been in one of the directories of the time Carol |

Have a look at this site:- http://www.brushmakers(.)com/ remove brackets. It has a list of names of some brushmakers. Kath. x |
